What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
The desire for more flexibility and being our own boss motivated us to consider HOTWORX as our family’s next business opportunity. Being a football family, life can be a little unpredictable, so having a plan B,C, and D never hurts! We are so incredibly excited for the road ahead.
What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
We loved the idea of following someone else’s best practices instead of “learning the hard way” with our first business.
How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
The Discovery Process with Kayla was awesome! She was incredibly thorough, patient, and encouraging. She stuck with us even when we doubted ourselves a little. All of the information presented during this period really gives you insight into what you are signing up for. It’s a lot, BUT Kayla was always reassuring and saying, “Remember, you’re going into business FOR yourself, but not BY yourself."
How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
Orientation Day was exciting! It was nice to finally put faces with names, and everyone was so friendly and professional. It was a day FULL of information, but prefaced with the fact that we’d dive deeper as the process went along. The celebratory cheers at the end was such a fun and thoughtful gesture!
What advice would you give to other candidates considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
As you go through the Discovery Process, really assess whether you (and your partners) have the time, energy, and desire to launch a business. We are big believers in timing. Is this the right time for you to do this? Also, start thinking about how you want to fund the business early.

What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?
We are excited to offer our community another way for them to invest in and care for themselves. The fitness world is intimidating for a lot of people, and we want to be a place where everyone feels comfortable in their skin now and in the future!
What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
Our goals are to hit 1,000 memberships, establish more than 5 B2B partnerships, reach 1,000+ followers on social media, and be a well known participant/sponsor in community events.
How will HOTWORX help you achieve your personal and professional goals?
HOTWORX gives us the opportunity to not only show our daughters that entrepreneurship looks many different ways, but also show other families that look like us that we belong and can thrive in this space. The profits are nice, but the impact on lives is what we crave to see the most!
