Sweat Elite Studio Access Information - Visiting Other Studios - Reciprocal Visit Fees May Apply For Entry and Booking - Membership Pricing Tiers 

At HOTWORX, we’re committed to delivering an exceptional fitness experience to every member. Because operating costs vary, especially in larger metropolitan areas, studios across the U.S. and Canada are organized into four pricing tiers (Tier 1–Tier 4).

Sweat Elite Member Benefits
Sweat Elite Members enjoy unlimited access to all studios within the same pricing tier as their Home Studio included with their membership. When scheduling a workout at a higher-tier studio, a reciprocal visit fee will apply.

Sessions must be booked using the HOTWORX App when visiting higher tier studios.

To book a session at a higher-tier location:

1. Schedule your visit in the HOTWORX App.
2. Follow the prompts to pay the reciprocal fee during booking when applicable.

This fee provides single-day access to the specific studio where the session is scheduled and is valid only for that calendar day.

Current Reciprocal Fees (based on your Home Studio tier)

Tier 1 Sweat Elite Members visiting a higher-tier studio: $12 per calendar day
- Tier 2 Sweat Elite Members visiting a higher-tier studio: $10 per calendar day
- Tier 3 Sweat Elite Members visiting a higher-tier studio: $8 per calendar day

(Applicable taxes will apply and are paid seamlessly in the app to the visiting studio at the time of booking.)

Accessing Studios: Important Tips
If you experience any other issues with studio access, please keep the following in mind:
- Account Issues: If your PIN or Mobile Pass doesn’t work, it may be due to an account balance or related issue. Contact your home studio for assistance during staffed hours.
- Technical Difficulties: If the entry system is malfunctioning, please report it immediately to your home studio.  See email address on the front door of the studio or visit:  https://www.hotworx.net/contact-us. While we do our best to avoid outages and access challenges, some technical issues happen from time to time.  
- Temporary Closures: Check for any posted signage or social media updates regarding unexpected closures due to safety or maintenance issues.

Ambassador Program

  • Merch Perx: When you refer a guest who enrolls at your home studio, you’ll receive a $10 Merch Perx reward, accessible in your HOTWORX Burn-Off App. Merch Perx can be redeemed at your home studio for gear and apparel purchases. Please note: Merch Perx must be used within 30 days of issuance or they will expire.

  • Free Year Membership: Refer 10 new members who enroll at your home studio, and you’ll earn a free year of membership!

90-Day Burn-Off Challenge

Push your limits and achieve your fitness goals with the HOTWORX 90-Day Burn-Off Challenge! Compete every 90 days to maximize results while earning exciting rewards. Here’s how it works:

  • Track Your Progress: Log your calorie burn through the HOTWORX App during scheduled appointments only.

  • Reward Levels: There are 7 reward levels based on your total calorie burn. Levels 1-6 are open to Sweat Basic members, while Level 7 is exclusively for Sweat Elite members. Burn more, earn more!

    • Level 1 - 5,000 Calories - $15 HOTWORX Reward
    • Level 2 - 8,000 Calories - $25 HOTWORX Reward
    • Level 3 - 10,000 Calories - $30 HOTWORX Reward
    • Level 4 - 16,000 Calories - $40 HOTWORX Reward
    • Level 5 - 21,000 Calories - $50 HOTWORX Reward
    • Level 6 - 27,000 Calories - $75 HOTWORX Reward
    • Exclusive to Sweat Elite Members:

  • Reward Redemption: Rewards are valid for 30 days following the end of the 90-day challenge and can be redeemed at your home studio for gear and apparel purchases. Please note: Rewards cannot be applied to dues, membership fees, or account balances.

Important Guidelines:

  • Members must use their PIN or Mobile Pass, or have location services turned on, and be in the studio completing the workout for calories to count toward the challenge.

Effective January 1, 2025, burn-off rewards can be redeemed at your home studio towards retail and gear purchases only.

Identity Verification & Liveness Check for 24/7 Access

To maintain a safe and secure environment in all HOTWORX 24/7 locations, members are required to complete a one-time facial liveness verification within the HOTWORX App. Liveness verification confirms that the person taking the photo is a real, live individual at the time of capture and prevents the use of photos, screenshots, or images of other people. This process is not facial recognition. HOTWORX does not use this feature to identify or analyze facial characteristics, does not compare member faces to any external database, and does not collect biometric identifiers as defined under applicable state or federal laws. The photo captured during the liveness verification is stored securely within the member’s HOTWORX account and is used exclusively to confirm that the individual accessing the studio matches the account holder. It is not shared, sold, or used for marketing. Members who choose not to complete the liveness verification may continue to use the studio during staffed hours but will not be eligible for 24/7 access.

Facial Liveness Verification

HOTWORX uses facial liveness detection to verify member identity for 24/7 studio access. Liveness detection is a security measure that simply confirms that a live person is capturing the image in real time. It does not create, extract, or analyze biometric identifiers and does not perform facial recognition or match faces against any database.

How We Use This Photo
- To verify that the individual accessing the studio is the membership holder
- To prevent unauthorized entry using another member’s PIN or mobile access
- To support the safety and integrity of HOTWORX’s 24/7 access model

How the Photo Is Stored
- Stored securely in the member’s HOTWORX account within our access-controlled system
- Protected by industry-standard security and encryption practices
- Not shared, sold, licensed, or used for advertising or analytics
- Accessible only to HOTWORX corporate systems and authorized personnel for verification purposes

Members may decline to complete the liveness verification; however, declining will limit access to staffed hours only, as 24/7 entry requires identity verification.
