My HOTWORX app doesn’t match my Fitbit calorie reading. How can I fix this?
If your HOTWORX app displays a different calorie count compared to what you’re seeing on your Fitbit, click the “refresh” button before you record your calories. This should re-sync your calorie reading from your Fitbit tracker. If it’s still not in sync, you can click the “manual calories” button and enter your calories manually based on what you’re seeing on your Fitbit device.
My calorie count in the HOTWORX app seems really low, or really high. Why is that?
The HOTWORX app is reading your calories straight from Fitbit, but sometimes there might be a delay with capturing your true calorie count from Fitbit. If you think the calorie count on the HOTWORX app seems too low or too high, just check your total calorie reading straight from your Fitbit watch. If the HOTWORX app matches what you’re seeing on your Fitbit watch, then you’re in sync! If the number on your Fitbit is different than what you’re seeing on the HOTWORX app, you can click the “manual calories” button and enter your calories manually based on what you’re seeing on your Fitbit device.
I’m showing that I burned negative calories after my HOTWORX session! How can that happen?
Fitbit devices reset around midnight every night. If you started a HOTWORX session at around 11:45pm, your Fitbit calorie reading may have been at around 3,000 calories burned for the day so far, but once you go past the midnight mark, your Fitbit reading starts fresh from 0 calories burned. This is why you’d show negative calories burned for late night sessions. The best thing to do in these scenarios is to start a workout session on your Fitbit and record your calories manually for late night sessions.
