In my book, HOT EXERCISE, the introduction began with a statement about the importance of time. Take a look at the excerpt below…
Time is perhaps the most valuable commodity we have in life. We might even go as far as to say all human advancement is the result of an effort to improve the quality of time.
Think about it—think about any innovation. Let’s take an obvious one, the computer, which was invented to accelerate information processing to make it more readily available. Since its introduction in the 20th century, technologists have endeavored to improve upon the computer’s capabilities at an ever-expanding and exponential rate. The Apple Watch or Fitbit you use to accelerate your workout effectiveness is a product of this technology race to satisfy your need to make the most out of every minute of your life.
The use of time could not be more important when applied to your fitness program. Saving time and maximizing its use will never go out of style. The HOTWORX company motto, "More Workout, Less Time”, will always be relevant to fitness. A motto represents the beliefs or guiding principles of an individual, an organization, or a brand. It should be a phrase that is timeless for what it says. The irony of the HOTWORX motto is that it is an evergreen statement for sure, timeless for training, but it states a belief about how to limit the time that has to be spent on something. In this case, a philosophy of limiting is unlimited as it will be around forever as a sound principle of working out.
In the evolving world of fitness, trends come and go. New workouts, fresh equipment, cutting-edge apps. But one principle that continues to dominate the conversation and resonate across generations is the simple, powerful HOTWORX motto: “More workout, less time.” This phrase is more than a catchy slogan. It’s a sound fitness philosophy rooted in science, discipline, lifestyle, and the human need for efficiency.
Time is the most valuable human resource. The modern individual is busier than ever. Between careers, families, and the demands of daily life, the window for fitness can shrink to mere minutes. This reality has created a lasting demand for workouts that deliver maximum results in minimum time. The “more workout” in “less time” ethos perfectly aligns with this lifestyle, providing a solution that respects the value of every second spent.
Science supports efficiency. Research consistently shows that well-structured short workouts, especially high-intensity interval training (HIIT), isometric training, and infrared sauna-enhanced routines can be supremely effective, much more so than traditional longer workouts in non-heated and non-infrared training environments. These efficient formats improve cardiovascular health, boost fat oxidation, and enhance strength and endurance. The science supports the idea that quality and intensity often trump duration.
There is a mental advantage too. Shorter, high-yield workouts reduce the psychological barrier to starting. Knowing you only need 15 minutes for HIIT, and/or 30 minutes for isometrics to get the results you want makes consistency far more attainable. It’s easier to commit, harder to make excuses, and more satisfying when each session delivers clear, measurable results.
Technology makes it easier than ever. Virtual training platforms, and HOTWORX, the pioneer of infrared fitness studios, are redefining what a "complete" workout looks like. These innovations offer guided, results-driven sessions in compacted timeframes, empowering users to get fit faster while still pushing the limits of performance. This fitness revolution gives back time. Less time spent during a workout means more time spent on life both during the years and by adding more years!
It’s a philosophy, not a fad. Unlike fleeting fitness trends, the HOTWORX motto “MORE WORKOUT, LESS TIME” is a philosophy of optimization. It’s about working smarter, not just harder. Whether you're a time-crunched professional, a busy parent, or a high-performance athlete, the desire to extract more value from each minute of fitness routine effort is universal, and eternal.
Here are some final thoughts. Efficiency will never go out of style. As the pace of life accelerates, the demand for smart, results-driven training will only increase. MORE WORKOUT, LESS TIME is not just a motto—it’s a movement! And it’s here to stay, always in vogue.
Whether you're in a sauna doing infrared yoga or squeezing in a Hot Cycle HIIT workout between meetings, you’re part of a revolution. One where time is respected, sweat is earned fast, and results come quicker than ever.
Time may be limited, but your results don’t have to be.
