HOTWORX Welcomes Chelsea Landow of Houston, TX as New Franchisee

Chelsea Landow, a mother, fiance, and entrepreneur, has successfully started, operated, and sold 4 businesses in the yoga/spa industry. After the most resent sale of her Lumiere Spa business, she found herself wanting to be part of something larger and began to consider franchise opportunities. Even though this would not be her first rodeo in business ownership, she was looking to work with an experienced team that she could grow personally and professionally with. Chelsea believed being part of a franchise would help her reach the next level of entrepreneurship.In October of 2016, Chelsea attended the Franchise Expo West in Denver, CO. She was set on purchasing a franchise license with Massage Heights, when she walked by another booth that caught her attention. The more she learned about HOTWORX and the idea of combining the benefits of infrared heat and isometrics, the more she felt this franchise opportunity was the best fit. Chelsea reflects on her journey through the Discovery Process and decision to become a HOTWORX franchisee in the interview below...

• Can you describe your first HOTWORX session?

Tough, but I felt amazing afterwards! The workout was more challenging than I expected since I have a strong background in yoga and have attended many Bikram sessions. They were not kidding when they named it Hot Warrior!

• How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?

Everyone is so excited! I did not feel I was being sold something. Your staff has passion for this new business. I went to 2 Discovery Day for other franchise concepts prior to HOTWORX and I was bored/felt like I was in a stuffy meeting. Joining a franchise is scary for someone who is used to doing it on their own.

• What was your experience like meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team for Discovery Day?

Your staff’s excitement and knowledge were what set you guys apart. I didn't want to part of a team that had no passion. There is always risk involved in a new business but I feel people are looking for this.

• What are the top 3 reasons you chose to franchise with HOTWORX?

1. HOTWORX is something new that I believe people will want and the 24-hour business model provides a workout schedule that is convenient for everyone.
2. The variety of HOTWORX sessions available combined with the benefits of infrared heat absorption has something to help every studio member achieve their personal fitness goals.
3. I want to be a part of something that makes people happy and feel good about themselves

• What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?

Invest in a concept that you believe in and have passion for. You will always be more successful when selling something you love and appreciate, and truly believe others will feel the same way.
