HOTWORX congratulates franchisees, Megan Baggett & Audra Van Gheem, who were awarded 2 franchise licenses in the Green Bay-Appleton market and recently opened their Green Bay, WI (Hwy 41 West) studio!

What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
Megan: I've always wanted to own a business and have something I could call "my own." I've worked in healthcare almost my entire career, and lately have been trying to explore other financial endeavors like real estate and short term rentals. I love health and wellness and real estate all the same, and have thought about opening my own wellness studio focused on mindful and mental health.

Audra: I have always worked in the project management field and have dreamt about creating something that I can be proud of and call my own.

What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
Megan: I don't quite have the business acumen to confidently quit my day job and be independent. However, I wasn't ready to give up my goal of owning something amazing and that's when franchising became an option for me. I fell in love with HOTWORX before I even went to my first session. When I realized I could explore this franchise opportunity and still work, it was a no-brainer for me.

Audra: The HOTWORX franchise provides a team environment and support, while allowing the individuals to reap the benefits.

‍What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
Megan: Love at first sight. I love to sweat while working out, so I was hooked after the first session.

Audra: I have not yet had the opportunity, as this will be the first HOTWORX in the area. I can't wait to get into the sauna and sweat it all out!

‍How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
Megan: The Discovery Process was exhilarating and exciting. Our Franchise Recruiter made me feel confident and supported on every call.

Audra: The Discovery Process was amazing, truly. When the opportunity presented itself, there were the standard doubts and questions, but with each discussion we had with Nancy, our Franchise Recruiter, the doubt and questionable "am I crazy" thoughts changed to pure excitement.

‍How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
Megan: Meeting the team was amazing. It was inspiring to see all these hard-working individuals succeed at something I am eager to succeed at. Learning about all the support, resources, and tools Franchisees have access to made me feel great about my decision to franchise with HOTWORX.

Audra: Meeting the HOTWORX team was great. Everyone was welcoming and there was an abundance of information. The support and structure provided is setting us up for success right out of the gate. Hearing that many of the Executive Team members just opened or are in the process of franchising their own studios shows they believe in the business.

‍What advice would you give to other candidates considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
Megan: Do it! There is no reward without risk. The Executive Team will provide you with ALL the support you need to be successful.

Audra: Giving a different type of offering for people to get excited about.

‍What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
Megan: I want to set the record for most sign-ups in the initial week. I also have a goal to make a profit the first year.

Audra: Profit in the first year, keep the members rolling in, and keeping members month to month!

‍How will HOTWORX help you achieve your personal and professional goals?
Megan: Our Franchise Coach has been amazing and will be key to our success. Learning from her will be invaluable and I am blessed to be assigned to her. The success plan, tools, and resources will also help us achieve our goals as new franchise owners.
