What originally motivated you to consider a business opportunity?
We currently own an integrated medical practice. Tony is a Chiropractor and Rita works in administration and patient care coordination. We have always looked for great opportunities that are in line with our way of thinking and current profession (health and fitness). We wanted to pursue something different and not another clinic, then HOTWORX presented itself on our way home. Our first exposure to the next generation of boutique fitness studios!
What led you to explore franchising rather than an independent business?
System, system, system! Rita always likes to follow systems, A to B to C to… I guess it makes sense and is easier to digest, getting the results predicted by a proven system.
What was your initial impression of your first HOTWORX session?
Rita: Loved it! It was pretty intense. I like that it was only 15 minutes and I was done. By the time I looked at my watch to see how much longer, it was almost over. I was able to get on with the rest of my day and felt great. I loved the afterburn and knowing that my body was still working even after my workout.
Tony: For me, I’ve always been into health and fitness. I could see a great value and benefits with heat, exercise, and, of course, an infrared sauna put together as a package. The health benefits and proven scientific research behind infrared technology was known in my profession for some time, but putting them all together, genius!
How was your experience going through the HOTWORX Discovery Process?
The Discovery Process was seamless. All questions that we could think of were answered before we could even ask. We liked how clear the Franchise Disclosure Document was and how informative Patricia, our Franchise Recruiter, was. We looked forward to each conversation with her.
How would you describe your Orientation Day and meeting the HOTWORX Executive Team?
I liked how organized it all was and that someone from every department was prepared to talk to us and go into detail about the support that we would receive as franchisees. One of the greatest things to hear about was how everyone got involved with HOTWORX and the length of the relationships between everyone.
What advice would you give to other candidates considering the opportunity to franchise with HOTWORX?
It really is a no brainer. The numbers work and the business model is genius.

What excites you the most in offering HOTWORX to your community?
We're most excited for the benefits of helping everyone get and stay healthy, while also witnessing the potential of any individual setting and achieving goals through this business model.
What goals do you plan to accomplish in your first year as a HOTWORX franchisee?
We plan on hitting the 500 member club by the first six months or less and adding more locations after the end of the first year.
How will HOTWORX help you achieve your personal and professional goals?
HOTWORX gets us closer to retirement from the medical field. That said, the medical field and helping people of all ages to get out of pain for the past 27 years has been nothing but a blessing and rewarding for us. We will always be involved in that community and now we can focus on another population that is eager to come see and visit us not due to pain, but rather happiness and staying healthy.
