HOTWORX “Workouts for Heroes” Jeep Donation

September 28, 2025

HOTWORX continues to support wounded veterans through its longstanding partnership with Sacred Mountain Retreat Center, a respite nestled in the Black Hills of South Dakota for wounded veterans, first responders and Gold Star families.

Today we honor Technical Sergeant Derrick Victor, a true wounded veteran whose courage and resilience continue to inspire. Having served our nation with distinction in Iraq and Afghanistan, Derrick faced the hardships of combat and the lasting effects of injury, yet he never allowed those challenges to define him.

After retirement, Derrick chose not to step away from service, but to continue his mission in a new way. As an Explosive Ordnance Disposal instructor, a baseball coach, and a dedicated mentor to veteran support charities, he has poured his energy into helping others succeed. His guidance has shaped the lives of countless veterans, offering strength, encouragement, and hope to those navigating their own difficult journeys.

Derrick’s story is one of sacrifice, perseverance, and leadership. He represents the very best of the warrior spirit—proving that service does not end with the uniform. Through his commitment to mentoring and giving back, he ensures that the bond of service to country and the mission of support carry forward for generations to come.

We salute Technical Sergeant Derrick Victor for his service, his sacrifice, and his continued devotion to veterans and their families.

On Monday September 8, just three days before the 24th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, HOTWORX donated a jeep to this very deserving veteran, Derrick Victor, as pictured above and in uniform below.

This jeep donation was done as a way to match the money raised last year for the Workouts for Heroes drive to benefit veterans who have been stricken with breast cancer.
